French culture is rich and deep across many fields of live. Parisians take great pride in their city and country, much like many Americans. Often times, this pride can come across as rude to many foreigners, they have a point. Paris has become world-renowned for fashion, food, architecture, and romanticism. You can clearly see what makes the city one of the largest tourist sites in the world. French tastes include soccer, art, film, and religion. Many things enjoyed here in the States.

A majority of Parisians are Catholic which has deep roots in French history. Scaling back to pre-medieval times, the Pope has had a tremendous amount of influence on the people and government of not only Paris, but on France as a whole. Catholicism in France dates back all the way to the 2nd century when Clovis I, who is seen by many as the founder of France, was converted from paganism to Catholicism. but a large minority population has emerged that has brought new religions to the city such as Judaism, Islam and Buddhism. This recent burst of immigration to Paris had created a melting pot of culture much like the big cities in The U.S.

Paris is also regarded heavily as a beacon of the world in fine arts such as cuisine, fashion, and architecture. Many people flock to Paris as a source of fine dining unlike any other. The streets of Paris are lined with restaurants that contain only the finest of food. They also have snails. Paris is weird, man. I can first hand tell you, snails look disgusting, and they feel disgusting when you're eating it. The taste is fine, it is often compared to other slimy chewy things such as oysters, which is correct. But throughout eating them, you can't help but think about the fact you're eating a freaking snail, and it pretty much ruins the experience. If there ever was a beneficial experience of eating snails. Anyway, the point here is theres a lot more good things to eat in Paris then snails, so like if you want to eat snails once just to say you ate them, do it, but don't do it for regular food. Paris is also regarded as a fashion center of the world too. Many of the exotic clothing stocked up in shops, have quite a cost associated with them. However, this comes with good reason, as you are paying for some of the finest wardrobe accessories. While wandering through the streets of Paris, the towering structures and statues surround your field of view. Many are from centuries ago, some are modern, but all have their own unique story associated with them, and help to paint an important picture that is Paris.
